    Every old woman a few years ago used to make rush candles. They used to peel the rushes and dip them in grease. John Cassidy, Annagh used to mak baskets. He used to boil the rods then he used to weave into a basket.
    James Shivan, Crossna used to make spade blades, fire cranes.
    Michael Bryan, Keash used to weave anything you wanted.
    Long ago they used to grow flax and make ropes out of it.
    Thomas Leydon, Corrigeenroe used to make churns.
    John Kilmartin, Rock Dorn was a great fisher.
