  1. Tootache:-
    Clay taken from a holy well is supposed to be a great cure for a toothache and a candle burned over a corpse is also a cure for it.
    Cough:-
    Docking seeds pulled between the 15th August and the 8th September is a cure for a cough.
    Warts:-
    If the water of three townlands that meet in a spot is poured on the wart, the wart will disappear inside a month.
    Ring-Worm:-
    The seventh son of the seventh son has the cure for the ring-worm.
