    Burn:-
    Any person who licks a mankeeper, and then licks the burn of the sufferer will be cured.
    Fowl-mouth:-
    The person who never saw his father has the cure for the foul-mouth.
    Mumps:-
    Any father and mother of the same name and who pulls the patient across a stream three times, with a hay rope around his neck will cure the mumps.
    Stye on the eye:-
    A stye on a persons eye can be cured by pointing ten goose-berry thorns to it and throwing away the tenth.
