  1. 1. There was a row of houses down the lane and over across to Kileens but the people died and the houses went to ruin.
    2. Between Bolands and Mac Inerneys there was a row of houses.
    3. Ther was a large village up in Ballahias and also a Coastgard Station.
    4.Over opposite Breen's there was alot of houses. The Torpeys, the Mullanes, the Cartheys and the Charlies lived in that time.
    5. Up a bit from Arthur Mc Namara's in his bog there was alot of houses.
    6. Over where Mrs O Sullivan lives belonged to an old man called Seargent O Connell about fifty years ago. They say he was the son of Daniel O Connell the liberator
