- (continued from previous page)and the wheels were called bucket wheels because there was timber buckets tied on to the wheels so as to catch the water. There is hardly any trace of it now because the man died and made no will therefore no body worked it. The things got rusted and the stones fell away but they say some stones are there yet.
- At the south side of the road back near the bridge in Dunmore where Paddy Griffin's house is at present there was a forge there long ago. It was belonging to Paddy Mac Grath and his house was up where Jack Keane's house(continues on next page)
