    The old rhyme says
    "Happy is the corpse the rain rains on,
    Happy is the bride the sun shines on."
    People do not like to pay debts on New Year's Day. It is said to be an unlucky day.
    The weed called Dande-lion is a cure for pains if pulled on a Tuesday. It would have no cure if pulled on any other day.
    People set cabbage on a Wednesday. It is said that if you set it on any other you would be setting it for the year.
