  1. Games I Play
    We play a good many games at school such as :- "Lord Duke Lord John", The hen and the flock of chickens, The cat and the mouse, Skipping, Catching, Hiding, Blind man's Buff, Hand Ball, Putting on names, Little Sally Water, High Windows, Queeney.
    Lord Duke, Lord John:- Two girls hold each others hands whilst the oters form a line. All thos in the line pass out under the two girls hands. Whoever is the last, is asked which would she rather a golden apple or a golden orange. If she says an apple, she goes behind the girl that is an apple, and if she says an orange she goes behind the other girl. When everyone has passed out both sides to see which is the stronger. Whichever side falls the first is beaten.
