    The game is usually for one hundred but we sometimes play for two hundred and fifty.
    "Skipping"
    Two children get a rope and wind it. Then one child rind [?]in[?] and skips, The children who are winding the rope sing "Mary in the kitchen Doing some stitching. When in comes the bogey man. And out goes she. One child runs in for the bogey man and Mary runs out. The children repeat The rhyme.
    Other rhymes for skipping are
    Teddy bear teddy bear turn right round
    Teddy bear teddy bear touch the ground
    Teddy bear teddy bear show your big toe
    Teddy bear teddy bear out you go.
    Ivory ivory over
    Mother in the market selling penny baskets
    The child in the cradle playing with the needle
