- There is a holy well in Inis Cealltra and everybody who passes by leaves something in it. There is a well situated about a mile from the village of Tuamgraney. It is called St. Colan's well. There is a well situated just beside the river Graney near the bridge. It is called the "Blessed Virgin's well".
