    lose the milk. The milk of the cow after calving is called "beasting". It is never drunk by anyone except by the calves. We keep the horses in a stable. They eat hay, oats and mangolds and they drink water. We rub the horses on the backs to pacify them.
    There was a great horse in Kilbrickan long ago. She ran from Kilbrickan to Miltown in less than half an hour.
    Hens are called "tioc toioc", Geese "Baddie baddi" Ducks "fiag fiag". Turkeys "Bias bias". Pigs "hurrish hurrish". Cows "Twee Twee" Calves "Suck Suck"
