my Father in the year 1911.
We have a great number of St. Brigid's crosses made of reed and tacked on to the roof of the house. They are put on every year on February 2 nd. There are leaves and branches taken into the house. Holly, Ivy and Laurel are taken in at Christmas. They decorate the house. We do not make anything of straw or ribbon. There is no holy water kept. There are little stones kept also, one white and the other green, left on the window. I do not know anything else which we value.
