  1. In olden times taliors were not as numerous as they are now. There was in tailor in each parish. In olden times the tailors travelled from house to house when required. They got very little pay for their work.
    Nowadays the taliors work at their own houses. Clothes are not spun locally.but thread is spun for stockings. The
