  1. My native village is Lisbrogan. It is situated on a bye-road which leads to the main road leading to Castlebar from Swinford.
    There are no old people in my village so therefore no one in the village remembers the hedge schools ever existing. But they remember of schools in farmers' houses. The school was held in the house of a man called Andrew Higgins in Cloonfinane.
