  1. The village I live in is situated on a bye-road which leads to the main road and is about a mile and a half from the town of Swinford.
    There are names attached to the fields in the farm - "Wards Garden" which gets its name from a former owner named Michael Ward. This field was a graveyard once. "Paddy Doyle's ground" which gets its name also from a former owner. Crocánín which probably got its name from a little hill
