    As Pat came to the top of the hill he heard the tap tap tap of a hammer; he gazed round and he saw a little man with turned up shoes a red coat and cap, under a mushroom mending a shoe.
    The night was very wild so he cautiously stole up and caught the little man. The Leipreachan said "who are you" "Pat Burke" "What do you want" said the Leipreachan. "To know where the gold is" answered Pat."Let me go at once" said the Leipreachan. "When you tell me where the gold is" "O look at the big black dog behind you" said the Leipreachan.
