    Folklore.
    There are many games played in this district such as jumping, racing, hurling, cross country running & many others.
    Patrick Spelman, & Patrick Moloney, is counted one of of the best at running & hurling in this Parish.
    Pat Moloney & Frank Cunningham won three or four races at Kilanena last June three years. A month or so later they were taken up to Dublin to run and won there also.
