  1. Forges are very useful places in which to get implements repaired.
    Forges consist of different implements which the smith uses.
    There are two forges in this parish. These forges are used by James Mc Bride of Kells and by Mr Joseph Pendergast.
    All the relatives and ancestors of Mr Bride have been smiths for many years past.
    Mr Mc Bride's forge is situated beside the street adjoining the school
