  1. My home is situated in the historic village of Kells. It is about eight miles from Kilkenny and is in the parish of Danesfort.
    There are about thirty families in this townsland and about thirty five people.
    The majority of these people are farm labourers and are employed by the local farmers.
    Some also are employed on the roads, while a few are employed on the mills.
