- Throughout the year we experience some very hard and severe weather. Long years ago great wind and snowstorms occurred occasionally.
In the year 1896, a great windstorm occurred in the locality. Many houses were left roofless after it. There was a cart healed up in Mr. O'Shea's yard, of Garnaman, and it was blown along the length of the yard.(continues on next page)- Collector
