- (continued from previous page)surer and begor they were lovely big mushrooms and he brought them home and ate them and the next morning the ring was again covered with mushrooms and the same happened every morning until the season was out, but nothing ever happened to the man or to the field of corn and he died a natural death.
It is said that these mushrooms are the seats of the fairies and they hold councils and meetings on these when they are all seated in a ring.
