    There are four forges in this district one in Creevishal owned by Mr. John O'Connor, one in Kilbine owned by Mr. Michael Bane one in Knockadoon owned by Mr. Michael Raferty. There was one over in Logrea owned by Mr. Neal Raferty but it is closed up for the past few years.
    People have been smiths for ninety years.
    Three of the forges are situated on the road-side and the other is on a by-road.
    Three of them have galvenized roofs and the other is thatched it is much older the the others.
