- One night an old priest called Canon Doyle was walking up Knock-na-Cree road. He saw something on a wall and it asked him to turn against God. The priest knew the thing was the devil and he started to pray. The devil gave a howl and vanished. The next morning the [shape] of a man's foot and a hoof were found marked in the wall. The marks can be found marked in the left-hand side of the wall near the pillar-box on Knock-na-Cree road.
