    He has tape, thread and chalk. Some people buy cloth and make their own shirts, the shirts are made of cotton and flannel. Long ago shirts were made of linen. People knit their own socks, but stockings are not knit, they used to knit them. There is only a very odd spinning wheel in the place now. Some people wear mourning clothes when a person dies. The people all used to get new clothes for a wedding or any special occasion.
