- It is many years ago since the first house was built in Ireland. The first houses the people made in Ireland were, the people cut long thick sticks and put them into the ground and tied them at the top. At this time in Ireland the wild animals were plentiful so the people killed these animals and took the skins off them and tied them on to these sticks and this is the first kind of houses that were made in Ireland.
