The cat gives us signs of the weather. When it is going to be stormy she sits with her back to the fire. When there is a red dawn in the morning it is for bad weather.
When the wagtail rests on a stone it is for rain.
Many other animals give us signs. When the rabbits are out early in the morning it is for good weather.
If the stars are shining brightly it is a sign of frost.
When the sun glitters on the road after a shower it is for more rain.
If a dog lies on his back it is for good weather.- Collector
