    When they reached Glentogher the Priest stopped and told them that it would not be necessary for them to escort him any further.
    Turning around and looking in the direction of Malin he addressed his escort and said
    "Some of you may or may not live to see it but a day will come when the name of a Duncan will not be in Balach."
    This has now come to pass. There is not now a Duncan in Balach.
    A James Duncan (probably of the same family) who owned a good farm there and a substantial residence sold his place and went to live in the six counties (a change which I heard he regrets bitterly)
