    are poor and have to build a little hut on the side of the road made out of bags. They have to walk from place to place. Some people think they are bad when the Winter comes with their good homes, but when you go through the country and see those tinkers by the road side, cold and hungry you appreciate your home. At night they go to sleep on the cold wet grass, and nothing covering them only old coats and bags. They do not stay any longer than three nights anywhere unless that the people are good to them, but if the people shut the door on them they don't stay longer than three or four nights. Some of these
