- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)go to a hotel, after which some go for a drive in a car, while others go on their honeymoon to the city for a week.
The cars they are in are done up in great style with ribbons and flowers.
The people who do not go on their honeymoon have a wedding in their own home and on that night a crowd of boys dress in disguise, they wear straw suits and big straw hats, and they have a fellow as a Sergeant who calls out the ones to dance and the bride is asked out for a turn.
It is said it is lucky for the straw boys to come to the house where the wedding is held.
