Mr. Reidy (grandson of Jerry Reidy aged 86 - still alive) says:-

Even at the present day there are 3 creameries in it. Some time ago there were 5. showing that dairying and milk-producing rank first among its main industries Milk at present is taken to creameries but we must(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
