- About seventy years ago the people only took four meals in the day - breakfast, dinner, tea and supper.
In the the summer time the churn was done before breakfast. Then they took their breakfast which consisted of Porridge and milk and some tea afterwards.
Then dinner was made about twelve o'clock consisting of some potatoes when they had them, and some vegetables. In the summer when there were no potatoes; Indian bread and cabbage was eaten.
