- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)This young lady is at present in Glasgow, but I have heard her relate that story last summer when home on holidays. An old relation of this woman's was supposed to have got this gold in the land, through the little people.
There is a shrubbery atta(t)ched to the farm and few people will venture near it. In days gone by, nobody dared go into it unless the owner himself.
A young man went to it on one occasion to gather scallops but owing to the noise of drums and fiddles he had to go home as he went.
