    Old Crafts.
About seventy years ago there lived a man named James Mc Kiernan in the townland of Clinaroe, outside Clones. He made wicker shopping-baskets and also creels for turf and potatoes. He is dead many years now.
Also, about seventy years ago my grandfather, Peter Mc Cearney, who lived in Fermanagh St., Clones, made his own candles from tallow and rushes, before gas or electric light came into use.
