south-west wind carries most rain to our district. When the north or east wind is blowing we know there will not be much rain.
The north wind brings the snow and frost, while the east wind is bitterly cold. When it is raining the wind is always on my face going home from school.Birds flying high are a sign of good weather , but when skimming over the earth near the ground we know the rain is coming.
Sea- birds coming inland are a sign of storm at sea. When the dog eats grass it is a sign of rain, and it is said that when the cat washes herself at the fire there will be rain.
