    Cuts & wounds
    Sugar of Lead. Sugar of lead is thought to be one of the best cures for healing wounds or any soars. When an ounce of sugar of lead is disolved in a pint of soft apply it to the wound.
    Blood purifyer
    Water Cress. Water cress is one of the best herbs for purifying the blood when eaten raw. It grows in boggy or marshy places and when boiled it makes a very good substitue for cabbage.
    Rheumatism
    Garlic. Garlic is also counted as a good cure for rheumatism when eaten raw and it is also used as a poultice. It grows something like an onion.
    Boils
    Marsh Mallows. A good remedy for boils is to poultice them with Marsh Mallows.
    Cough
    Honey & Horehound. Honey mixed with Horehound is a very good cure for a cough.
    Rheumatism.
    1) Celery Seeds. This is a good cure for rheumatism
    2) Ash Leaves are very good for rheumatism when boiled [?]
