The people have many beliefs about the weather with regard to the sun, sky, moon, dust, stars, clouds, rainbow, etc.
If the sky is of a light blue there is no danger of rain, but if it is cloudy and dark bad weather is expected. If the moon is covered with clouds or if there is a halo or ring around it they say it denotes rain. If the dust is blowing along the road and if ants or flies are seen creeping along the road it is said to be the sign of rain. If the stars are very numerous and if they shine very brightly a frost is to be there that night. When(continues on next page)
