This prayer is to be said after going to bed at night and while lying on your right side.
O angel of God my guardian dear to whom God's love commits me here and ever this night be at my side to light and guard to rule and guide.
- Mud houses were common in the district long ago. the roofs were thatched with scraws and straw. Most of the old houses had a bed in the kitchen. It was called a settle bed, and it was left by the side wall.(continues on next page)
