Ar an leathanach seo
- I have a churn at home. It is not very big or wide. It is of an oval shape and the opening is square. It is about seven years old. The parts of it are: the churn, dash, handle, a little piece of metal to fasten the handle and screw to screw it on.
Butter is made twice a week in it in Winter and the same in Summer. Every one in the house helps with the churning even strangers and ramblers, as they say it is not right not- to do so. In Summer the churning takes about a quarter of an hour or so. The churning in Winter takes about half an hour. It is always done by hand. the churn dash moves quickly round while the handle is twisted. The people know(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
