(ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)The Stone-Chatter builds her nest in a wall. She builds it with moss and feathers and lays five eggs of a yellow colour.
Weather judged by the behavour of birds:- People can judge the weather by the behavour of birds. When they hear the birds singing cheerfully they know that the weather is going to be fine.
When the Swallows fly low, it is the sign of bad weather.
If the Robin is seen perched high up on the top of a house it is an omen of good weather, but when she perches under a bush it is a sign the weather is going to be wet.
If the Lark soars high in the air the weather will be fine and it is also a good sign if the Crows fly high.
If the Curlew cries when flying over upland it is a sign of bad weather, but if she cries as she flies over the bog it is a sign of good weather.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
