   They say that it is not right to leave a child alone out in the red ground.
   There was a man there and his wife and they had one child. The husband was one day preparing garden, and the wife came out after the dinner and brought the child with her. She put the child sitting on a bag in the corner of the field, and she went closing holes with a [?]. Some time out in the evening a cow gave a roar in the yard, and the woman ran in to see what was the matter. When she went in one of the cows had another cow horned, and all her side was torn. She ran out to the field and told her husband to come in as quickly as he could. He left the spade in the ridge after him, and ran in. They fixed up the cows and when they came out
