  2. Colds
    Onions boiled in milk to which a little pepper has been added if taken will cure a cold.
    A hot lemon drink taken when in bed at night helps to cure a cold. Bathe the feet in very hot water then get straight to bed and sip a cup of very hot milk.
    Cough
    A mixture of lemon juice in olive oil and honey is good for a cough. 1/2 pint boiling water poured on a few spoons of blackcurrant
