  1. Pat O'Connor of Cahir Lane was sent out one night about eleven oclock on the Summer time to see the battle, which had broken into the garden a few night before that. As he was coming back he saw a man standing on a gap near the house and he look like his brother David who had died a few months before that. When he went in he told his father. His sister Mary was very bad and his father said that it is some one coming with a cure for his daughter. So the old man went out himself to ask for the cure. He went as far as the cattle and he could not see any one. Pat got sick and Mary died and Pat died a short time after her. The three of them died within a year and people said that David came that night to take the two others away.
