Michael Hayes; He was the granddad[?] of Patrick Ryan (Bawne), he lived near Tipperary in Doon
The Landlord was not satisfied with his rent so Michael Hayes shot him. He then escaped and spent most of his time roaming through the woods. On his way he passed through 'Oola', here his son shot a man named 'Quinlan' from hense[?] he went to Dublin and then to America. After many years he returned to Ireland again where he was shot. One of his friends composed a song about him:-
