When it is seen in the evening, it is the sign that we are to have a spell of good weather, and when it is seen in the morning it forecasts the opposite.
   The North-wind nearly always brings dry windy weather; the East wind showery weather; the South wind variable weather, the South-West a continuous bad spell of weather. Intense reddening in the sky, at night is
