One lent about 38 years ago she went to Glenville well to perform rounds there. She went there on every Sunday during Lent and on the last Sunday the lump was not gone, so she lost hope.
When she went home she told one of the neighbours that she had not been cured, adn her neighbour told her to pick up faith and to go there one more Sunday even though it was not Lent.
The woman obeyed and she went there again, and as she was coming home from the well she felt a queer feeling under her eye. She put up her hand and the lump fell to the ground.
At St Joseph's well in Dough there were a great many people cured. My great grand father was lame when he was young and he used crutches, and some one informed him that if he went there fifteen times after St Joseph's Day he might be cured.
