There was a lot of cures long ago. The ure for the tooth- ache was to put a frog in the mouth.
For a sty in the eye the cure was: to pull nine thorns from a goose - berry brush and prod them to the eye for nine days and throw one away every day. This would(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile) - Bailitheoir
