    All smiled in sweet Baltray.
    The bride and groom the did suggest
    In order to amuse their guest,
    That they would really do their best.
    A few steps to display
    Then Tady Mc Shane tuned up his trump
    And 'sluggin' Jack he shook his lump
    Lane Nan beat time with her odd stump
    That night in sweet Baltray.
    Moll Rae it was the only tune
    This couple jigged about the room,
    Jack loaded like a bee in June,
    Till Nan said "leave my way"-
    For when I get straight upon my prop
    I'll dhulk the loft with every hop
    For neighbours dear I'm in my shop
    This night in sweet Baltray.
    We all stood up then to give thanks
    For Nan's surprising act of pranks
    Said Jack - my love - your nimble shanks
    They surely bear the sway,
    Of anything I've ever seen
    Danced on stage of flowery green
    If I was king you should be queen,
