  1. (continued from previous page)
Warm as the morning sun so bright
In her own sweet month of May,
Filling the world with lift and light
    And chasing the gloom away.
Immaculate Queen, on your starry throne.
With words of gold and fire,
We would make your goodness and mercy known,
But alas for our hearts' desire.
Our minds are poor and our voices weak
That with rapturous notes should ring,
When we kneel at your feet in the Home we seek,
What a beautiful hymn we'll sing.
