  1. Long ago there was a man and his name was Johnny Reilly. He was very fond of drink and he lived with his wife at the bottom of a churchyard. One night he went to the pub for a few bottles of stout and his wife was very vexed with him. So she thought up a great plan to cure Johnny of drink.
She went to the caretaker of the churchyard and asked him to try and cure Johnny of drink. "To be sure I will" said the caretaker." So he dug a big hole in the churchyard and put a big sheet over him and went down into the hole. Johnny came along singing and whistling and the caretaker down in the hole began saying "Ah its very cold down here, Ah its very cold down here." So Johnny passed by never noticing him. The caretaker repeated again - "Ah its very cold down here." "Whats that you said," said Johnny. "Ah its very cold down here." "Ah you poor fellow, you are not half covered, wait until I put a few more shovels on you."
