- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)It is the custom that on the day of the wedding people get old boots and tie them to the cars going to the church. When a pair are married the priest of the parish cuts the wedding cake. When the couple leave the church there is a crowd of people waiting for them. They have boxes of rice and confiete to throw on them. When the bride and groom come home from church there is a breakfast in the Brides house, and for the rest of the day there is singing and dancing.
When the Bride and groom come back from their honeymoon there is dancing and singing. - Marriages usally accur in Summer and from after Christmas to Shrove. The lucky months for marriages are, April and February and the unlucky months are May July.
