- There was a hurling match played between Cork and Limerick. It was played at Dungarven Limerick won after the second replay.
When the ball was thrown in Limerick scored a point. Limerick attacked but were repulsed time and time again. Cork now scored a goal. This left Cork leading by two points. A man was knocked out and was entertained in Hospital for two months. Play resumed and Limerick scored a goal from ten yards mark. Cork now attacked and scored a goal. The half time score was:
